This Bachelor's Degree describes all the features of the atmosphere including weather, climate, and climate change. It covers all major weather and climate topics: atmospheric composition and air pollution, clouds and precipitation, atmospheric energy cycles, causes of wind systems and jet streams, cyclones and anticyclones, severe weather (including thunderstorms, tornadoes, and hurricanes), and origins of climate change (natural and human). It describes how weather forecasting is done. It also explains how the rapidly increasing human population and consumption of energy and other raw materials are significantly impacting the global environment.

Bircham International University distance learning degree admission requirements differ depending upon the Faculty and the major of study. There is no discrimination with respect to race, color, sex, beliefs and/or religion. A minimum of 30% of the total number of credits required by any adult degree program syllabus has to be transferred from previous education and/or validated from professional experience in order to gain admission.
