Materials Science Engineering via distance learning
The program discusses the important properties of three primary types of material and their composites: metals, ceramics, and polymers. It describes the relationships between the structural elements of these materials and their characteristics. It depicts the mechanical behavior and failure of these materials and portrays the techniques used to improve these deficiencies through structural elements' alteration. It also discusses the corrosive, electrical, thermal, magnetic, and optical properties of these materials in addition to relevant economic, environmental, and societal issues.
