Social engineering is used by political, corporate and military strategist to foster their agendas, gain social control, manage social change and regulate the future development and behavior of a society. On individual basis, social engineering intends to learn how to influence a person to induce a specific action or decision. Effective social engineering relies much on the use of technology and big data to obtain accurate information about an individual and/or a group profile.

This course explores the processes of social and personality development. It focuses on four key areas of research: cognition, attachment theory, language development, and moral development. It also addresses the issues and debates about the role of genes, gender, socialization, and neurological development as interacting forces that affect how infants and children acquire self/other awareness, identity, and social competence.

This course examines the dynamics and influences of social class and stratification on contemporary society. It investigates topics such as the conceptions and structure of class; class consciousness, inequality, prejudice and discrimination; social mobility; the relations between class and culture; the role of money and power; and class-based social movements and revolutions.

Organizational Behavior
This course analyzes the impacts of behavioral issues found in the organizational setting. It provides an in-depth focus of past and current theories concerning the cause and effects of work motivation, attitude formation, and perceptions in different organizational settings, including those that are culturally diverse. The course also explores how personality theory can be applied to selection, placement, training, group processes, conflict, organizational behavior modification, and the individual and social bases for decision making.

This course of fake news examines the untrue information presented as news. Fake news are those stories that are fabricated, with no (sometimes partial or decontextualized) verifiable facts, sources or quotes. Fake news nurture a larger ecosystem of disinformation. They may have the aim of damaging the reputation of a person or entity, create propaganda to mislead the reader, or may be designed as “clickbait” written for economic incentives. The prevalence of fake news has proliferated via social media, because they are so easily and quickly shared online.

This course focuses on the analysis of the organizational process and the study of the contemporary theories used to implement change within an organization. It examines the processes of organizational change within the context of organizational culture. It discusses the issues and challenges facing organization development and transformation while merging theory with case studies.

This course discusses the theoretical aspects as well as the current research in social psychology in order to improve people’s understanding of themselves, others, and their surrounding society. This course of social media management focuses on the process of managing the company or brand online presence on social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter by creating, publishing, and analyzing the content posted. In addition, social media management includes engaging and interacting with social media users. Influencer Marketing
This course of influencer marketing discusses social media influence focusing on social persuasion and prescription. Influence is less about arguing for a point of view or product than about loose interactions between parties in a community (often with the aim of encouraging purchasing or behavior). This distance learning education program is completed by a traditional correspondence instruction method. Once you sign up for the course, Bircham International University will send you (to your mailing address) the suggested textbooks. After reading the book, you will be asked to write a 20 to 35 pages report that reflect your understanding of the book. This report is equivalent to the exam and can be submitted by email or mail. Bircham International University will evaluate your written work. If passed, BIU will issue the corresponding diploma.
