Oriental Therapies via distance learning

This program of oriental therapies reviews the oldest system of medicine in the world. It refers to a range of medical practices that originated throughout India and Asia like Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, Chinese Herbal Medicine, Yoga Therapy and other disciplines aimed to balance the mind, the body and the spirit. While Western medical doctors believe that most diseases are caused by microorganism such as bacterial and viruses, or genetic disorders, the oriental medicine believes illnesses are caused by an imbalance of the energy flow in the body. Health results from keeping a person’s spiritual, emotional, mental, and physical balance.
