Operations Management via distance learning
The major goal of this program is to show the principles of operations and their influence on the competitiveness of firms. Another objective is to teach the strategic importance of designing a good supply chain as well as planning and producing individual products. An operations manager understands how any weak spot in the design, planning, and operation of a supply chain can jeopardize the entire performance of a firm. This program identifies inventory, transportation, information, and facilities as the key drivers of successful operations management.
